On the night of May 28, a netizen broke the news: Around 9 o’clock that night, at a McDonald’s in Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province, Zhang and other five people asked the victim Wu, who was also dining there, for her phone number but failed, so they beat her to death. As soon as the news was posted, it attracted many netizens’ attention. People all denounced and scolded the suspects’ evil deeds and urged the police to return justice to the victim.
Several days later, the government claimed that the suspects Zhang Lidong and five others were all members of the cult “Almighty God.” Shandong Provincial Public Security Bureau decided that from June to August this year, the public security organs of the whole province should be organized to carry out the special action of cracking down on cult crimes, to dig out some gangs of cultists, crush a batch of hard cores, and destroy their organization system and capital source. Actually it was a simple criminal case, but several days later, the CCP turned it to a case concerning religious belief, completely changing its nature. Immediately, there was an uproar on the Internet. Sensible people have already seen the flaws in it. As the saying goes, “Though drunken, one’s real interest is not in wine.” The CCP wants to make a big fuss over this case so as to persecute and crack down on the Church of Almighty God and the underground churches in Mainland China, and this is exactly its main purpose of diverting public attention. The CCP takes such a “skillful” step. It attempts to achieve its base aim of eliminating the Church of Almighty God by the Zhaoyuan murder. The CCP is really playing the trick of a thief crying “stop thief,” with a hidden evil intention, with another plot!
The true way has been persecuted since ancient times. In the Age of the Grace, King Herod learned that Jesus, King of Israel, was born. Fearing that he might lose his throne, he killed all the babies under two in Israel and its territory. Similarly, in the end time when Almighty God, the Lord Jesus who has returned in the flesh, carries out the work in China, the CCP is also panicked, like King Herod, fearing that God’s arrival will endanger its position. In order to hinder people from coming before God and continue its dictatorial rule, the CCP tells lies and spreads rumors by every possible means all the time, framing up, fabricating lies, and attacking, and moreover it uses the media, the CCP’s mouthpiece, to wantonly discredit the Church of Almighty God and brutally persecutes and hunts God’s chosen people. The facts are enough to prove that the CCP is the contemporary King Herod and the evil force of resisting God. Even so, under the CCP’s suppression and crackdown, God’s chosen people of the Church of Almighty God push the gospel work to its climax by the wisdom, faith, and strength God gives them.
In just over twenty years, Almighty God’s word has spread throughout China. And now the kingdom gospel spreads rapidly in every country overseas. Almighty God’s word has got into newspapers in western countries; the experience testimony articles of God’s chosen people of the Church of Almighty God undergoing the CCP’s brutal persecution, interrogation by tortures, and all kinds of inhuman torments have been published in western newspapers; various videos of recitation of God’s word, hymns, and testimonies of God’s chosen people suffering the CCP’s persecution have also been spread on the Internet. Speaking of that, I think it’s not difficult for us to understand why the CCP wants to transfer the “Zhaoyuan Case” to a case concerning religious belief. This is because God’s chosen people of the Church of Almighty God have already made its evil deeds public to the world, and all countries have known its evil deeds of persecuting God and God’s chosen people. In order to cover up its sins to the utmost, continue its dictatorial rule, turn China into a “region without God,” and make those ignorant people worship it as God forever, enshrine the “Communist Party,” this “Satanism,” in their hearts, no longer have their own thoughts and ability to resist, and obey and accept its rule blindly, the CCP begins its “black” plan, scheming to uproot the Church of Almighty God. Thus, the case in Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province becomes a catalyst for the CCP to crack down on the Church of Almighty God. However, no matter how the CCP fabricates against and frames the Church of Almighty God, lies are lies and can’t stand the test of facts. I believe that all those who are far-sighted can see its flaws and have their own extraordinary insight. Here, I just want to talk with you about a question: On what basis did the government allege that Zhang and other people are members of the Church of Almighty God?
It can be seen from the Focus Interview of CCTV that Zhang claimed that he is a believer in Almighty God, and the police searched out the books of God’s word from his house. So the CCP police and media judged that Zhang is a member of the Church of Almighty God. I may ask: In the past, when handling cases, did the police confirm the suspect’s identity only according to his or her one-sided confession or according to the so-called “material evidences” received from nowhere without investigation? However, there is no need for the CCP police to make themselves clear about some matters, because their duty is not to let the public and the victim’s family know the truth and return justice to the victim, but to see if the confession is favorable to the CCP. As long as it is of a little use, they will make a big fuss over it in the media, the mouthpiece of the government, and whip up public opinion so as to safeguard the rights of those who are on the same side with them.
Then, how can it be ascertained if Zhang and the others are members of the Church of Almighty God? In fact, this question is very simple. We can make a right judgment according to the principles for accepting people in the Church of Almighty God. The Church of Almighty God has definite principles for preaching the gospel: “Only those who truly believe in their heart that there is God and are willing to seek the true way and have good humanity can be preached to.” “Never preach to those who have a very bad humanity, who have a bad reputation, who can do anything bad, or who are wicked people.” It can be said that members of the Church of Almighty God have been preaching the gospel strictly according to the principles of God’s family, preaching to those who have a good humanity. Over years, people from various denominations and sects also say, “Good people who genuinely believe in God in our church are all converted by the people of the Church of Almighty God.” So we actually needn’t investigate if Zhang and the others are the members of the Church of Almighty God, because they are not up to standard. How could members of the Church of Almighty God preach to such kind of people? The answer is definite: We never preach to wicked people without humanity or take them to the Church of Almighty God. Therefore, regarding Zhang’s claim that he has believed in Almighty God for seven years, I have nothing to say but that he is shameless and extremely foolish.
Additionally, if Zhang has believed in Almighty God for seven years, doesn’t he know that it is dangerous to preach the gospel in public places in Mainland China? And isn’t it very ridiculous for him to ask for the phone number at a McDonald’s where there are so many people? Furthermore, believers in Almighty God don’t pursue to go up to heaven. God requires man to pursue the truth and pursue to know God, live by God’s word in everything, pursue to be transformed in disposition, break away from the disturbance and siege of satanic force, live out the likeness of a real man, live under God’s care and keeping, and worship and praise God normally on earth. How come Zhang Lidong doesn’t know this if it is true that he reads God’s word at home every day?
For many years, the CCP always claims that the Church of Almighty God is a cult and asks people to do bad things. But why doesn’t it show any fact to the public? It’s no wonder that the government dare not make the contents of the books of God’s word known to the public, because all God’s words teach man to walk the right way of human life and be a person who has conscience and humanity.
Besides, why were the background sounds different when Zhang’s talk was played in the video? The news report also mentioned that a puppy was killed. The CCP never cherished animals. What could it prove by talking about animals? And how did that book appear in that place? It’s hard to say if it was put there by the police. Moreover, according to the official report, the Church of Almighty God is like a gang, and they will cut off the ears of those who don’t accept the gospel, gouge out their eyes, and break their arms and legs. Then, why is the CCP never revenged by those “villains” who are revengeful since it has been frenziedly persecuting and afflicting God’s chosen people for so many years? Is it that the Christians in the Church of Almighty God disturb the social order? Or is it that the CCP brings inconvenience to people’s life by creating terrible rumors repeatedly and “cracking down on the cult”? As an atheistic country with dictatorship, is it qualified to determine and judge what an orthodoxy is and what a cult is? I believe that people from all circles of life and people with discerning eyes also have some analyses of these questions. So it’s unnecessary for me to speak more here.
