I
Today I suffer for God; tomorrow I will inherit God’s blessings.

Only in this way can man practically come to know God, touch God, and see God; only in this way can man truly be gained by God. The Sorrow of Corrupt Mankind

1. Man walked with God, through all ages and times,
knows not God rules the fate of all living things,
unaware of how God orchestrates all things and how He directs all things.
Since time immemorial till the present day,
this is something no one ever knows.
It is not because God’s ways are too hard to find,
or His plan has yet to be realized,
but man’s heart and spirit are too distant from God.
Therefore, while man is following God,
he is playing the role of Satan’s servant.
He never perceives this.

2. No one takes initiative to seek out the footsteps of God or the appearance of God.
No one wishes to exist and live in the care and keeping of God.
But they choose the corrosion of Satan and the evil one
to adapt and get used to this world
and to adjust themselves to the rules of life followed by the wicked mankind.
At this point, the heart and spirit of man turn to gifts man offers to Satan.
Man’s heart and spirit turn to food of Satan,
even the place where it resides,
and a playground for it.

3. In this way, man unknowingly loses his principles of how to be human.
And he doesn’t know any more the worth and purpose of why he exists.
God’s laws and the covenant between God and man
fade away gradually in man’s heart.
Man no longer seeks or pays heed to God,
no longer seeks or pays heed to God.
As time passes,
man no longer understands why God created man,
nor does he understand the words from God
or realize all that is from God.
Man begins to resist the laws of God and the decrees from God;
the heart of man and the spirit of man,
the heart and spirit of man become numb. …
God loses the man He originally created,
and man loses the root of his beginning.
This is the sorrow of this mankind.

Peter Knows God Best

1. Peter was faithful to God for many years, yet he never grumbled or had a complaining heart, and even Job was not his equal. Throughout the ages the saints, too, have all fallen far short of him. He not only pursued the knowledge of God, but also came to know God during the time that Satan was carrying out its deceitful schemes. This led to many years of service that was after God’s own heart, as a result of which he was never exploited by Satan.

2. Peter drew upon the faith of Job, yet he also clearly perceived his shortcomings. Although Job was of great faith, he lacked a knowledge of matters in the spiritual realm, and thus he said many words that did not correspond to reality; this shows that his knowledge was still shallow, and incapable of being perfect. And so, Peter always looked to gaining a sense of the spirit, and always focused on observing the dynamics of the spiritual realm. As a result, he was not only able to ascertain something of God’s wishes, but also understood a little of the deceitful schemes of Satan, and thus his knowledge was greater than any other throughout the ages.
